Robbie Farr Is February Topgun
Ross Allen posted Monday February 8, 2010.
An amazing seven (7) podium finishes during the month of January 2010 gives Robbie Farr the Sprintcars Australia award as the February TopGun. It is the second time that Farr has achieved the TopGun award this racing season, but his seven podium finishes makes it a record achievement.
Sprintcars Australia recognizes an outstanding driver each month during the racing season and the overall winner is decided on a points basis with regard to the number of times the driver finishes in a podium position for an A Main event.
Farr had a brilliant January 2010 with seven podium A Main finishes including an amazing five wins and two seconds. He won the World Series Sprintcars event at Toowoomba and both nights of the World Series Sprintcars event at Parramatta. He also won the King’s Sprintcar Challenge in Mount Gambier and the Australian Open Sprintcar Nationals at Speedway City Adelaide.
Catch the tribute to the February TopGun, Robbie Farr, on the home page of the Sprintcars Australia website – www.scca.com.au – it features a great action shot by Darren Shaddock.
